Tools Functions that Intelligence Hub agents invoke during workflows: content search, web fetch, document retrieval, and MCP integrations.

Topic The DEMS term for a labeled video segment. Equivalent to Chapter in EnterpriseTube.

Tracking Frame A Vision Indexer setting for the number of consecutive frames an object must appear before it is accepted as valid (range: 3 to 30, default: 8). See Configuring VIDIZMO Vision Indexer for Object Detection.

Transcoding Converting uploaded media into multiple formats, resolutions, and bitrates (renditions) for cross-device playback via adaptive streaming.

Transcription Text conversion of spoken content, generated by AI speech-to-text or uploaded manually. Indexed for full-text search.

Translation AI conversion of content between languages. Audio and video translation is supported through the VIDIZMO Indexer and Azure Indexer. Document and image translation is handled by the VIDIZMO Vision Indexer. The available languages depend on the configured indexer.

Trigger The entry node that starts an Intelligence Hub workflow. Types: User Prompt (chatbot message) or HTTP Trigger (external request).

U

User Analytics Per-user analytics showing impressions, views, completions, time played, quiz scores, survey responses, and certificates achieved. Accessed from the Reports Dashboard under the User Analytics section.

Upload Adding content to a portal via drag-and-drop, file browser, API, or automated ingestion. May trigger automatic processing.

V

Variables Named data containers in Intelligence Hub workflows for storing and passing values between nodes. Managed in the Workflow Designer. See Variables.

Video Heat Map A timeline visualization showing viewer engagement intensity, highlighting watched, rewatched, and skipped segments.

Video Mosaic A multi-screen tool in Studio Space combining multiple tracks into a synchronized view with customizable layouts. Used for multi-camera evidence review. See Understanding Video Mosaic.

Viewers An analytics metric counting the number of unique users who watched a content item. Differs from Views, which counts total plays including repeat watches by the same user.

Views An analytics metric counting the total number of times a content item was played. A single viewer can generate multiple views. Differs from Impressions, which count page loads regardless of playback.

VIDIZMO Indexer VIDIZMO's AI service for audio and speech processing, including transcription, translation, summarization, chaptering, PII detection, and speaker diarization. Separate from the VIDIZMO Vision Indexer, which handles visual content. See Configuring VIDIZMO Indexer for Insights. See also VIDIZMO Vision Indexer.

VIDIZMO Player VIDIZMO's HTML5 player supporting video, audio, playlists, chapters, captions, annotations, transcriptions, insights, and adaptive streaming.

VIDIZMO Support VIDIZMO's support service for technical assistance, troubleshooting, and platform guidance.

VIDIZMO Vision Indexer VIDIZMO's AI service for object detection (40+ classes), OCR, transcription, summarization, speaker diarization, translation, and chaptering. Runs on-premise (GPU) or in the cloud. See Configuring VIDIZMO Vision Indexer for Object Detection.

View Limit A sharing restriction capping the number of times a user can access a content item.

Visual Insights AI-generated metadata from visual analysis: detected objects, bounding boxes, confidence scores, and facial attributes. Displayed in the Insights panel.

VTT (WebVTT) A text format for timed captions and subtitles. VIDIZMO generates VTT via AI transcription or accepts manual uploads. See also Closed Captioning, Transcription.

W

Watermark Text, images, or dynamic metadata (username, timestamp, IP) overlaid on content during playback to deter unauthorized distribution. See Understanding Watermarking in VIDIZMO.

Watermark Template A reusable configuration for watermark placement, transparency, size, and content, supporting static text, logos, and dynamic variables. See How to Create a Watermark Template.

Webhook An event-driven HTTP POST sent to an external URL when events occur (uploads, processing, metadata changes). Configured in Portal Settings. See Understanding VIDIZMO Webhooks.

Whitelist A list of approved domains, IPs, or emails permitted to access a resource. Used for embed domain restrictions, portal IP access control, and registration email filtering.

Widget An embeddable UI component (player, library, upload) for external websites. Rendered as iFrame or JavaScript. See How to Show, Hide or Rearrange VIDIZMO Widgets.

Workflow In content processing: an ordered sequence of operations (transcoding, indexing, redaction). In the Intelligence Hub: graph-based automation logic with connected nodes. See Understanding Workflows.

Workflow Designer The visual editor in the Intelligence Hub for building workflows by connecting nodes on a drag-and-drop canvas. See Workflow Designer.

Workflow Queue The Control Panel page showing all items queued or actively processing, with status, progress, and error details.

Wowza A third-party streaming server for live and on-demand delivery. Can serve as both streaming and storage provider in on-premise deployments.
